At one point, the woman was able to hide in a bathroom at another home. Davis broke down the door and began to punch and kick her again, according to a criminal complaint filed in court. The witness was able to separate them and Davis allegedly said he was going back to his house to get a gun and kill her.
A guitar and wall were also damaged in the fracas. The cost of the damaged property, including the bathroom door, was estimated at $800.
Davis also was charged with third-degree criminal mischief.

• Robin C. Sam, 27, of Alaska, was charged with felony driving under the influence after Fairbanks police received a report of a possibly intoxicated driver leaving the Golden Nugget Hotel on Thursday. The officer observed the vehicle run several red lights while traveling northbound on Cushman Street.
The vehicle pulled over on Minnie Street, but when the officer got out of his patrol car, the vehicle took off through the Northgate Square Mall, coming within feet of a pedestrian. The officer contacted Sam, who was “clearly intoxicated” in the parking lot of the Bentley Mall, according to a criminal complaint filed in court.
Sam refused any sobriety tests. He also was charged with felony refusal to submit to a chemical test, failure to stop at the direction of a peace officer and driving with a revoked license. Sam was previously convicted of felony driving under the influence in March 2004, according to court records.
