Job shopping
Robert Fox, Fairbanks
Published Thursday, August 28, 2008
Politics make strange bedfellows … and some will burn all of their bridges in the process. I’m guessing someone needs a job, and prospects are looking fairly well depleted on the local front.

What exactly is this letter referring to?
Sounds like he's referencing Jim Whittaker to me.
I believe the writer is referring to Mr. Whitaker's recent behavior.
Jinx! 12345...!!
If it was a job interview he was after, someone needs to teach him public speaking. Did Whitaker happen to notice the speakers that spoke against further oil, coal and gas development in the US. Seems what they want is renewable energy sources. So much for your syn gas plant in a chronic polluter city. Good thing the Whitaker's have sold things out, they can leave the day after his term ends.
Maybe this should have been placed in the poem section, drop a few words, and you have a good Haiku:)
Nah,, this is Robert Fox, a realtor in Fairbanks. I do not know what he is referring to,, but he's talking to someone...
Still got that property out at Sand Lake? :)
I think he is referring to a possible job opening in the Mayors office soon.
I heard what some of the cronies and oldtimers had to say about Whittaker... funnier that heck.
Some of the imitations of Jimbo are h-i-l-a-r-i-o-u-s!
What a funny little man you are.
