Public Safety Report - Aug. 1

The Public Safety Report is compiled from criminal complaints filed in state and federal courts, as well as some police blotter information, trooper dispatches, fire department reports and interviews with public safety officials. Individuals named as arrested and/or charged with crimes in this report are presumed innocent until proved guilty in a court of law.

Theft

Alaska State Troopers are investigating a report of theft at Delta Industrial in Delta Junction. Investigators believe that on three separate occasions an employee stole more than $6,500. Charges are pending against the 21-year-old.

Vehicle theft

• A gray Toyota 88 pickup truck with a white topper, license plate EVT 804, was reported stolen Friday morning from the intersection of Fourth Avenue and Noble Street.

• Fairbanks police are investigating the theft of a bright blue Yamaha 2000 Blaster from the 500 block of Haines Avenue. The four-wheeler was reported stolen Friday morning.
