Global Day of Prayer
A community prayer gathering will be held on Global Day of Prayer at the Pioneer Park Gazebo from 7-10 p.m. Saturday. Believers are welcome to come and pray for Fairbanks, the state, the nation and the world. There will be open microphone prayer time, as well as prayer by individual churches. Gospel music will be provided by Born Again Believers In Christ and Friends Churches. If your church would like to have a 15-minute time slot, call 799-2457.
Anglican Church of St. George
The Anglican Church of St. George meets on Sunday at 11 a.m. in the Masonic Lodge, 427 11th Ave., for a family prayer service in accordance with the 1928 Book of Common Prayer. Refreshments and fellowship follow the service. Information 479-6493.
Assembly of God
Assembly of God Central Mission Church, 3558 Goldizen Ave., hosts English services Sunday from 10-11 a.m.; and Korean services from 11 a.m.-noon. Korean language school is Saturdays 10 a.m.-noon. A pancake breakfast fundraiser will be held through June every Wednesday-Saturday, 7-9 a.m. Breakfast is $5 or a punch card of 10 breakfasts is $50, plus you get one free breakfast. Bible Baptist
At Bible Baptist Church, 32 Adak Ave., Sunday services are at 8:30, 10 and 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. Dave Haveman, missionary to Tonga, sent from Open Door Baptist Church in Missoula, Mont., will be preaching this Sunday.

Christ Lutheran
Christ Lutheran Church, Farmers Loop and Iniakuk Avenue, meets for Sunday worship at 8 and 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Susan Granata officiating this Pentecost Sunday.
