The Public Safety Report is compiled from criminal complaints filed in state and federal courts, as well as some police blotter information, trooper dispatches, fire department reports and interviews with public safety officials. Individuals named as arrested and/or charged with crimes in this report are presumed innocent until proved guilty in a court of law.

Assault

Patrick William Adams, Sr., 54, of Fort Yukon, was charged with fourth-degree assault after he allegedly threw his daughter to the floor following an argument Tuesday night.

Alcohol was believed to be a factor in the incident.

Burglary

• Sometime between Tuesday night and Wednesday morning, someone broke into the Silver Gulch Brewery in Fox and stole $2,000 worth of alcohol, including kegs and cases. Anyone with information about the case is asked to call Alaska State Troopers at 451-5100.

• An Xbox 360 and related items valued at more than $650 were stolen Wednesday from a Slater Drive home.

Fairbanks police are investigating a suspect.

Multiple charges

A Fairbanks man faces several charges following a car accident in Minto on Saturday afternoon.

Johnathan M. Sears, 35, was driving the vehicle on Minto Road when he lost control and it landed in a ditch, according to a criminal complaint filed in court.

Two passengers, Kevin Greenan, 37, and Zelma Silas, 55, had to be airlifted to Fairbanks Memorial Hospital following the accident.

One of them told troopers they had gone to Manley Hot Springs to bring alcohol back to Minto and that they had all been drinking on the drive back, according to a criminal complaint filed in court. Minto is a dry village.

Troopers were unable to immediately locate Sears following the accident, though he emerged from nearby woods several hours later.

A chemical test found his breath-alcohol content to be 0.056, and several bottles of whiskey were found hidden in the woods as well.

He was also airlifted to Fairbanks Memorial Hospital.

Sears has been charged with two counts of third-degree assault, alcohol importation, leaving the scene of an accident, failure to give notice of an accident and driving with a suspended license.

A charge of driving under the influence is pending.

Theft

A laptop and shaving kit were reported stolen Wednesday afternoon from a vehicle parked in the 1200 block of Ninth Avenue.
