Dee Ann Gallagher

1956 - 2008

Dee Ann Gallagher, 51, passed away in her sleep on Saturday, May 3, 2008, at her residence.
Dee was born on June 25, 1956, in Quinn, S.D.
She had been a resident of Alaska for the past 23 years. She worked for Fairbanks Memorial Hospital for several years and was a volunteer with the American Red Cross helping in various relief efforts.
Dee is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Sarah Garrett of Phoenix; mother, Dee McKnight of Fairbanks; brother, Jackie McKnight of Phoenix; sister and brother-in-law, Julie and Don Bee of Phoenix; boyfriend, Dan Smith; and very close friend, Clarence Kraft.
Dee was preceded in death by her father, Jackie Owen McKnight. 
The family will receive friends at Chapel of Chimes Funeral Home, Friday, May 9, from 5-7 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like memorial donations to be made in Dee’s name to: American Cancer Society, (800) 227-2345.
