Fairbanks resident Goldie A. Danhauser, 85, died Sunday, May 4, 2008, at her home in Fairbanks.
Goldie was born May 5, 1923, in Mossyrock, Wash., where she grew up, and she graduated from high school in Randle, Wash.
She moved to Fairbanks in 1990 to be closer to family. Goldie was active with the Fairbanks Senior Citizens Center. She enjoyed making arts and crafts.
Goldie was preceded in death by her husband, Robert K. Danhauser.
She is survived by her son, Mike Danhauser of Fairbanks; grandsons, Ryan Danhauser of Fairbanks and Robert Danhauser of Tacoma, Wash.; daughter, Debra Thaut of Scottsdale, Ariz.; grandsons, Devon Thaut, Travis and Chris Lee, all of Scottsdale.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, May 10, at Fairbanks Funeral Home, 3704 Erickson Ave.
Memorial contributions may be made in Goldie’s memory to the Fairbanks Senior Center, 1424 Moore St., Fairbanks, AK 99701.
Arrangements were by Fairbanks Funeral Home and Crematory.
