John H. Park, 80, passed away Wednesday, May 14, 2008, at Denali Center.
John was born Sept. 27, 1928, in North Korea. He attended Kyong Hee University in Korea and served in the Korean military.
John and his family made their way to the United States where they moved to Fairbanks in 1977. He owned his own business here in Fairbanks. John loved his family and friends, and he enjoyed traveling. He especially loved fishing. Many of his happiest hours were spent fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Ok, and son, Charles Park.
Visitation will be held at 3 p.m., Saturday, May 17, at Fairbanks Funeral Home, 3704 Erickson Ave.
Arrangements were by Fairbanks Funeral Home and Crematory.
