Our house is in the flight path off Badger road. I took this when they were doing touch and goes last week.

This willow ptarmigan photo was taken at Trevor Creek, midway between Toolik and Atigun Pass on the Dalton Highway, on the solstice.

I have had more fun with this photo. Believe it or not, most people are puzzled and ask what happened to the moose’s head and leg, and others say it’s just plain creepy. The moose was simply scratching his head with his back leg, out of sight of course.

I watched this juvenile Yellow-Rumped Warbler begging for food from its mother even though she had just fed him. She looked really tired!

My two children and I recently took a trip to Kodiak to visit my sister, and while we were there we visited Fort Abercrombie where this picture was taken on top of an old World War II bunker covered in lupine. I just sat my youngest, 8 month old Olivia, in the middle of the flowers and took her picture!
