The Rev. Curt Karns, kneeling, is anointed with prayer as the congregation lays their hands on him during his installation as Executive Presbyter on Friday, Feb. 23, 2007, at the University Community Presbyterian Church. Karns, formerly the pastor of New Hope Methodist-Presbyterian Church in North Pole, will now serve as the Executive Presbyter of the Yukon Presbytery, He will be overseeing 23 Presbyterian churches throughout the Yukon.
