- FAIRBANKS — Tuesday marked the 88th anniversary of the constitutional amendment granting women the right to vote, and in celebration of the historic event, the League of Women Voters of Tanana Valley and the Fairbanks North Star Borough Public Libraries are sponsoring a free film to be shown Sept. 4 at 7 p.m. in the Noel Wien Library auditorium.
