How many times do we need to revisit this. We are looking at it. All you hear of is this task force is looking at or these people. We need to get off our butt and put in a gas line to the fairbanks area so that we can get off oil and have cheaper heating solution like natural gas!

The goverment is preparing us for SOCIALISM. This seems to me the way we are going. Get people used to more goverment hand outs! I do not know how many times I have heard we need to redistrobute the wealth in this country. I do not think this will help at all. Just more debt. What needs to be done is a sound plan on energy. But to many in Congress are making to much money form special interest to really care about where the country is headed!

How true in your comment. The legislators do not care that we pay high gas prices. If they did they would do something about it. But since they get all these perks and freebees being politician they do not care. Sounds like our congress they do nto care about any type of national energy plan. They care about special interest and satying in power!

The real issue I see it is that CONGRESS as a whole has failed us by not doing what is right. Everyone always blames Bush. He is not the only one who determines about money being spent in this country. Congres has more to do with it then he does.

Sounds like more lets hate Palin garbage to me. I feel only people who are qualified should be put into the job not based on ethinicity.
I am sure if the "sit down boy" was used there would have been something in the news about it. I think more made up stuff to get into the news.

We do do a good job of creating enemies. Our State Dept does a very poor job in assessing and making determination on how to handle issues in foreign countries. We need a security policy to protect us. When I am done in Iraq in 2010 I am retiring.

Complaining because they lost food stamps. They have been activated and they are earning money. Now soldiers who are not making enough can apply for WIC. It sound like to me that people are complaining because there freebees are gone. They are making money. When in Iraq there are lots of additional money added like no tax COLA,iniment danger pay Family seperation pay. I mean come on. Now I have to admit the healthcare would be an issue since Tricare is not set up for the bush. I am sure like anything else there are issues that have to be addressed. But to blindly put blame like this is uncalled for. What Racism are they talking about? I know the National Guard has assistnace to help with issues.

The bottom line is to help curb this before it becomes are a real issue. I have lived in many part of the US where gang shootings were a daily issue. The only way to nip it in the bud is for comunity involvement to stop it. Then for the courts to hand down tough sentences for gang memeber. I do not have an issue with gang memebers killing each other it's innocent people that bothers me. It will get worse before it gets better. As long ans we do not put our heads in the sand and hope it goes away then we as a community can do something about it.
