Ahh, yes...I just found it myself. I particularily like the part where he downplays the aligator clip method of tasing over being shot with probes...and the part where he says he didn't know his actions were ilegal-regarding the ilegal moose hunting incident.

The fact is, this article should not have made such a big deal over Wooten being Palin's ex-bro-in-law. The point, rather, ought to be that he is supposed to be "serving and protecting" the public, enforcing the laws, and has landed himself in an on-going string of crimes, the latest of which, the alegations of abducting his son.

No one else can drink and drive w/o going to jail. No one else can ilegally shoot a moose (even if they "don't realize" they are breaking the law). No one else can tase their kid and not be investigated by social services. And, NO ONE ELSE can keep their child over the agreed-upon date of return in a joint-custody situation without being called upon by the authorities.

It is time for Trooper Wooten to be held acountable to the laws he has sworn to help uphold.

You guys crack me up: watch his interview on CNN. Wooten himself admits to the things he was accused of and he makes himself look exactly like the fool that he is...I wonder if that video is on YouTube...

Wether or not you like Palin, this really has nothing to do with her.
Furthermore, it is deffinitly NEWS when one of our "Public SAFETY Officers" is being investigated for KIDNAPPING.
Wake up, people, a cop who drinks and drives A PATROL car can't charge people with DUI. A cop who tasers his kid can't charge people for child abuse. WHY IS THIS GUY STILL NOT FIRED??

As a trapper myself, THIS IS SICK AND TERRIBLE, and takes us one step closer to not being allowed to trap wild animals.

At Walmart today, I learned that any kind of physical or verbal violence is perfectly acceptable as long as the giver says, "ExCUSE me!" Man, I was pushed, poked, pulled, and rudely told to move several times and all I was there to do was buy a couple $2 DVDs for soldiers over-seas. LOL

I have no guilt about the 26 pounder I have waiting to be cooked...even if it was one of the ones we watched being executed behind Sarah Palin. LOL

Doris: your quote, "Mr. Muller may be guilty of trespassing, but the people who's actions he was protesting are guilty of war crimes. "

the people whose actions he was protesting-doesn't that translate as soldiers, doing their job? Or you are saying you meant he was protesting President Bush? nah.

I am not big fan of this war, quite honestly...but, I understand the necessity of it. I doubt you could really think that pulling our troops would end the killing. It would likely result in more attacks on the U.S..

I spent the first 17 years of my life supporting my dad, who was in the Air Force, and gone for much of those years. When he retired, my mom was even given an appreciation of HER military service for being married to him for his 20+ years. All of us kids knew what it meant to serve our country, because we gave our dad to the cause, and for some of us, our childhood was very short too. I married an Army soldier after that, and again, lost a great deal to the Army. Now he is a police officer, and trying once again to keep our country safe.

It sounds to me like DANA and SNIFFLES have given much of the same. We don't have to serve as member of the military to greatly serve our military. We can say THANKS just because, like I said, we are free to live without constant fear. Our kids can play outside and only worry that a moose might charge them, but not some taliban idiot with a bomb attached to his chest. and THAT is why we say thanks to our vetreans-for doing a job none of us had the willingness to do.

As for the article, yes, the constitution gives even idiots the right to freely protest. But the law says if they are on someone eles's property, they have to leave when they are asked, and if they don't, they can be charged with trespassing. He was trespassing, whether you think his cause was valient or stupid, he broke the law. That is not my opinion, just truth.
My opinion is: if disagree with the war, FINE-but don't brag about it, protest it in public, etc.. because there are hundreds of very young men, and older ones to, giving us the freedom to protest against them and they don't need to hear that "we" are not even supporting them.

I've had snowmachines "fly" past me whiule walking on Badger Rd. bike path...four wheelers in the summertime (PLENTY of light). These two were drunk-probably the whole issue of misjudgement....but, also young-if anyone's going to let their underage kids drive ATVs, they should take a saety course which includes info. on these type of fatalities, be given speed governors, or something.
