Once a tax starts it is never ending. A highway roadblock/checkpoint on all pick up trucks is a better idea. An unsecured load, (plastic bags, cans, paper, fast food cups), can net the borough $1000.00 in one fell swoop, plus the stop can double looking for DUI's.

Woodman - - - I suggest you RUN, not walk, to the local business that sells woodpellets for a penny a pound. Especially when you can get 40 pounds for $4.50! You might want to change the battery in your calculator!

Far too many "entitlement" programs out there anyway! Who runs them, the government. How does a government employee insure job security? Get more people into the program. Quit looking for the freebies and become self-reliant. Do what it takes.

What about the cost of an FAS baby? Begin now to teach every boy and girl the cause of FAS babies. Require it 3 hours a year. Then, ten years down the road the state can stop paying for FAS children being born because it was taught in school and the ramifications were explained. FAS IS A PREVENTABLE MENTAL ILLNESS. Why should our state have to pay for someone's bad choices?
Individual responsibility. Respect yourself, respect others. There is a difference between "law abiding and law breaking."
