dobieman their house is assessed by the Mat-Su borough at over $500,000.00 and we all know that assessments are never over valued. Yeah right. Guess I better never run for office or I would have to explain how I built my home and other properties with help from family, friends and neighbors like most people I know. I think it used to be called a barn raising!

CEO, while we're looking for answers maybe we can gat the truth about some of Ted's land deals in Anchorage and Seward that made him or his friends millions. Oh and lets not passup the chance to get some answers on all of the money that went to Alaska fisherman who then hired his son Ben as a consultant. I too have voted for Ted for over 30 years, but I say its time for some new faces in Washington and lets not stop at Ted!

I agree with Marie, if you want service you need to organize and be willing to pay for the service. We pay an additional 1.6 mils, about $400.00 per year for coverage by the Steese Area Volunteer Fire Department. A great group of dedicated volunteers who are there when you need them. My thanks to all the volunteer departments throughout the borough.

I heard some of the attachments this morning on the radio, tax cuts were added for a company in Oregon that produces wooden arrows, also a tax cut for rum manufacturers in Puerto Rico to name a couple. Sounds like politics as usual in DC. Thanks Don for the no vote.

Yes sarcoidjeff borough officials are non-partisan, and the Mayor did serve in the house as a republican prior to running for borough mayor so I think his party affiliations were clear. Did the Obama campaign use him and will it be to his benefit or ours, only time will tell. This great nation we live in still allows us the freedom of speech.

I felt it too, heard come through the house from one end to the other. I went to the site mentioned in the above post to log it and they had it posted pretty quick.

Wonder whatever happened to the special backhoe the city bought years ago to clean out Noyes Slough? There was aplan to turn it into a canoe trail in the early 80's.
