"...besides, we'd like to see her medical records pertaining to her psychological health - lots of questions there."

runriverrun, my guess is that there are NO psych records to review in Sarah's case. Psych records do not exist if one does not have a psych problem.

You could ask hadrian38 if this is true... he may have first hand knowlege!

And perhaps the remaining Salcha moose could get a class action lawsuit going against all of the highway drivers that failed to notice which direction their relatives were facing, and therefore, which direction they were going to run while on the highway and were subsequently struck and killed by a negligent driver.

Just because a moose is facing a certain direction, doesn’t mean you can tell which way it will run. There are plenty of drivers that can tell you that, as well as plenty of hunters. Seriously, I really do think it is Mother Nature that should be sued for putting those moose here to begin with!

The airlines would do well to just place each passenger and their luggage together on a scale and charge for any "overage". Lardbutts and grannies alike.

But, yes, I do agree that the military should not be charged for having to pack their combat gear. The airlines didn't put a lot of thought into implementing this new fee... not with all the $$$$$$$ spinning in their heads!

lagirl: Nowhere in my comment was I agreeing with you and don't put words in my mouth. You seem to have a warped idea of everyone's attitude in this town thinking everyone is hostile when they walk in the door.

A server should have a considerate attitude of treating others as they would like to be treated, as human beings, and not be looking at customers merely as "wallets" walking in the door as you seem to be putting it. And anyone working as a server has no business treating customers poorly just because THEY think the customer has a poor attitude. Oh that's right, a "chip on their shoulder" as you put it. A little kindness given to someone that "has a chip on their shoulder" could brighten their day and doesn't cost you a cent.

Oh, and let's not forget, we are also paying to put a margin of profit ($$$) into the pocket of the person who owns the business!

Just to clear the air here, lagirl. When you walk into a restaurant you are paying what the restaurant has determined to be a profitable price and costs considered into the price of the meal is the cost of the food itself, the cost to prepare it, the cost of upkeep and utilities of the restaurant building AND the pay of the employees that work there. That is just to name a few items.

And no, you don't pay a price for service, but it is well within reason to expect to be treated with hospitality.
