Who cares why she fired him. It is the governor's right to fire any of her appointees. Palin needs to hang tough and ignore her political enemies and the media trying to make this an issue.

Yukonjohn he's not necessarily a racist. He didn't say Fort Yukon Athabascans will kill the bison. I understand him to mean bush-billies (natives and whites and whatever) are trigger happy poachers that revel at shooting wild things to put in the pot. I don't think its a joke and I don't think James' remarks are racist. Why does this issue always get drug into these debates?

Poor subsistence-living Jeff King. Wouldn't it be simpler for him to pay the fine and hope this doesn't get too much attention by the media? If he wins, I'm going to start scouting for a nice bull around the boundary. Sounds like the area King hunts might be productive. Hope Jeff won't mind sharing with the rest of us slobs.

CanadaDan Be a sport and let your next bear live. I recommend getting them with a can of spray and then thrash them good with an aluminum baseball bat. Maybe a tazer?
