Wow Rockstar!!! Do you make completely rude comments to everyone that writes a letter to the editor? Please do me a favor and find a new city to live in - and complain about.

Come on folks! Where's all the negativity coming from? This person wrote a restaurant review! A review some people might even consider helpful and/or pleasant when choosing a new place to dine-in. ANY new independent restaurants to open in Fairbanks are a welcome site to me!

OMG!! I would really like to think that most of us have better things to do with our day then sit around and be "grammar police" to our local newspaper. For those of you that do not - get a life!

No offense NativeAlaskan, but bars and nightclubs are in business to sell alcohol - not hinder their patrons from doing so. I do agree that people driving under the influence is a major problem in Fairbanks, but I don't feel that making our precious town into a "police state" is the answer.

I'm shocked and saddened about the responses some have made to the announcement of the Elton John concert. Good concerts in Fairbanks are so few and far between. I for one, would like to applaud the staff of the Carlson Center for being proactive and seeing an opportunity to host a musical superstar! I will gladly pay the higher price to see a "musical legend!"

Starman, you must be mistaken. The title of the article is "Board of game NIXES extending season for local sheep hunters!" So in essence, you're complaining about the very thing you feel so strongly in opposition of i.e. "making you a hippocrite!"

"I find it interesting that Sarah Palin would abandon the office of governor of Alaska just to become John McCain’s running mate." I find this statement laughable. If elected as Vice President Sarah Palin could help all Americans. By the way, she was "chosen" as a running mate. Not only is that an honor ~ I would have to believe that she may feel that is is also her duty.
