Nice thing about being a Fairbanks resident for 40 years is that you is that learn some of the town's inside info. I can't say whether they do good work or not because I won't do business with Chuck Miller.

I'll vote for Schaeffer Cox. Mike Kelly voted against the energy rebate. Mike Kelly ethics were questionable on the certificate of need. And during Mike Kelly's run at GVEA we went from coal generating 90% of our electricity, to only 25% now.

Ha, yeah I agree with some of what you say. I just think the public's money is being mis-used. I'm conservitive, & have been voting against Don Young for 40 years.

If this is a viable idea, why does it need 3/4 of a million dollars from government? Oh well, soon we'll all be on the dole.

blue5011, I meant that there were union officers thal SOLD jobs during pipeline construction. Going price was one to two weeks pay. $4000 just to slip someone in the back door at the union hall.

Hire Alaskan is great idea. But in practice, during the last pipelne our local unions sold jobs to outsiders, ahead of Alaskans.

Old one: Happiness is 10,000 Okies headed south with a Texan under each arm. It was a reaction to the end of pipline construction & union 798 leaving. So i guess if a gas line is built any time soon, we can look foward to their return. In general, they were a rude group of people.

This will dovetail well with shutting down IM program due soon. No net loss of Borough power, people, or budget. Will the Borough now have the power to inspect the interior of our homes?

I agree with Woodman, Whitaker's Port Authority filed an incomplete application to AGIA, it was rejected. Incompetent. Now, more borough money. He should apply himself to his job as Borough Mayor and find a dream to pursue with his own money.
