Just to add my two cents to the Birth Control topic:
Abstinence is not a form of birth control at all. Not entering into the world of possibly having a birth is not working to control whether that birth will happen one day.
Abstinence is a fine thing if you can handle it, but it isn't birth control - or much fun either for that matter.

We all know that people are still in that "I'm in love and he can do no wrong phase" but even with all that love sickness, saying he pledged not to take the public funding is still a stretch.

Mark my words - we are going to see some scarey/disappointing things about Obama come through. He is just as much of a political game player as anyone - probably even the best at it. If he would only claim that, then maybe I could trust him. Change - what a joke.

Frozen Paint, I can't for the life of me imagine what good it would do to return the signs to the offender. That would only be doing them a favor.
Although I don't think that the police or the justice system have time to deal with these litterers, I wish they would!
Maybe along with the applause section the paper should have a for shame section and these litterers could be posted there.

Hmmm...could you be joking Goat? The whole point of the letter is to make sure folks know that Joe Hayes is in no way connected to Jim Hayes. It was Jim Hayes that was mayor, NOT Joe.

Late to the game here, but it seems to me that simply asking who is at the helm in Juneau isn't such a bad thing. I don't know where all the anger is from.
