If Coles column had been on the editorial page it could be treated as such, however it was front page in the local section of the paper. This in my book takes it away from being considered as a editorial piece and open to complaints. As suggested elsewhere Cole should continue using this space for reporting his bake sales andcommunity events and when he feels the urge to do commentary have the FNM staff move it to the editorial page.

And I am sure that Cole, not needing his 1,200 energy check is going to turn it back to the state coffers or hand it over to the homeless. Damn, what other governor wouldn't have wanted the money for a project such as this? Surely not Bill and his Whitewater fiasco.

Cole is super liberal, what did you expect? I am sure he is much more comfortable with a inexperienced rookie senator as president than a first term governor as VP, though of course a governor actually does lead government.

Does anyone really think that the "staff" at the DNM would pass up any type of shot at Governor Palin?
On Questions remain on Palin vetting
