Oh darned, I will miss the daily drivel of M. Dukes, Uncommon Sense for a Common World. No half-truths, no personal attacks, no lavish praise of all things conservative, in other words no more garbage.

I do not understand how God could allow this to happen at one of his/her places of worship. Isn't he/she always watching?

A renters best remedy to slum lords is the Alaska Landlord Tenant Act which lays out the responsibilities of each party AND lays out the penalties if a slumlord retaliates against an activist renter. Carpe diem

I pinheads from DOT and the city who approved that entire traffic plan when the new Freds and the other box stores went in should be forced to drive that area during every peak time. There is no excuse for that idiocy. It is a classic example of bureaucratic group think.

This could be considered a natural result for an organization that did not promote but did abide the raping of children and women especially in the villages. Today we are seeing the transgenerational results of the Catholic Diocese hiding the perpetrators of such heinous acts. It serves the Diocese right. Maybe they will learn something from this.

There is evidently a saying about drugs and local high schools:
North Pole makes em, Lathrop sells em, and West Vally uses em. This reported by more than one student.
Also, the statement that the school district takes drug use seriously must apply only to students not to district officials.

Darned it. I am bummed that I missed the caucus although my wife and son were there. I was especially happy about Elaine Eads changing from Rep to Dem to vote for Obama. I wonder how many Dems changed to Reps so they could vote for McCain? Everybody, I mean everybody, here is in Sri Lanka is asking about Obama and Hillary and what I think, who I like, etc. Strangely enough, no one asks about McCain or Romney. Oh well, must be the work of the liberal, east coast, elite press.

This illegal war is stipping our national resources bare. When W and Dick retire with pensions, health care, and security, Americans will be left to pick up the pieces including our national infrastructure, health care system, and social security. How long can die hard Republicans continue to support this bozo and still look themselves in the mirror?

What, pay for something beneficial to me? I'm a true Alaskan and I do not have to pay for anything. Can't the government just give it to me? I mean, why worry about this now? It will be at least several years before we have to open another landfill and by then my kids can deal with it! Besides, we have a war to fight. Everyday, terrorists arre breathing down our necks just itching to bomb something important, like the transfer station on Chena Pump. Put that money towards Homeland Security Guards at every transfer station.

Wow, I'm glad Gene is right on this. There must have been many, many deaths with this plant. It sounds almost as bad as marijuana, the demon drug. You know, there have been many deaths associated with aspirin. Where is Gene when you need him for that one?
