The concert was awesome even for those of us up in the bleachers and to the side of him. I think it's awesome that he came up here and played in front of 6600 people just like he would play in front of 50,000. He didn't hold back even though we're a small town up North and he could have. He even took time to sign autographs which he didn't have to do at all. When he first came out and everyone stood and cheered it brought tears to my eyes, you could feel the enthusiasm and his enthusiasm when he sang.
And for the Carlson Center the sound rocked!
oh and Preston, he probably got in late and left right after the show because he had another show 18 hours later in Anchorage and had just finished his first Anchorage show. You do the travel time and math + taking down and setting up the set. The man has to sleep sometime, somewhere.

You obviously don't know any mushers. All the mushers in the races have reflective tape and clothing on all their dogs, their sleds and themselves. But other than that you are right about it boiling down to personal responsibility. Snowmachiners are welcome to go as fast as they want but when you know there's a race in the area use some common sense and expect mushers and dog teams. And being so drunk you can't even tell that your about to run into something probably isn't a good idea either.
