Blog: Election 2008
Unlike Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger of California, who came out recently for John McCain, Gov. Sarah Palin won’t be endorsing anyone in time for Alaska’s vote today.
The governor had a news conference this afternoon to talk about some completely non-election related things, and when someone asked her about her Super Tuesday plans, she said she was still making up her mind.
“We’ve just been so dog-gone busy here,” she said.
Palin said she’s talked with Mitt Romney and Mike Huckabee, and said they’re both saying the right things about Alaska issues -- resource development, gun rights, etc.
She didn’t really answer when asked if she’d ruled out John McCain, but said she “[took] issue with his issues” and wanted to hear him explain his position on developing resources in Alaska. Last week she said she’d narrowed it down to McCain and Huckabee.
