Bartik found Damien Ward open in the flat for a 35-yard touchdown to put the Grizzlies up 15-7 (missed extra point) with 3:47 to go. But that was soon overshadowed by an inexplicable whistle during the ensuing kickoff return ... that led to a sideline scuffle in which mouthguard went flying from a pack of players shoving each other ... that led to Odessa DB Bobby Ferguson being escorted off the field.
The kickoff was redone and Odessa returned the ball to the 15.
